Leaders being and doing

Leaders need to be authentic more than anything else, we often hear that they should behave like that, have successful habits, but most important thing is to be your true self. How can anyone trust a person who is coping others, we trust people who are working from inside out.  Leaders need to dance between doing and being, many books about leadership focus much on doing but many leaders need to be better at being for more trust and wellbeing.

Be your authentic self.  Just be. And do.

Be there for the people, be there if someone needs help and have a question. Be there to give advice.  Also do some planning and roadmap for the future of course and share vision and values with all. Of course you need to use your time wisely and have the  right people around you to assist in realizing plans.

Mindful leader works from the inside out, he or she tap her inner resources, connect, use creativity, share passion, motivate others with his or her vision for the future. They are aware of their abilities and limits and understand they need others to realize their plans.  They are aware of their feelings and can manage them to be more successful.

Like all living beings, for example orange tree, we need to open for inner resources, use them wisely and adapt to circumstances.  At the right time according to our strategy map, bring some fruit and share it with others.

We can not make some maps for others, do this and than this etc.  everybody need to work from inside out, feel it themselves and find their own way, we can not put people in the same box.

All leaders that work from the inside out, and work on their inner resources, to sharpen their focus and use their passion, creativity and joy are much stronger.  Be there and listen to those around you, their opinions and suggestions. Listen and observe, keep on learning all life.   We can learn a lot from others and just with listen and be a silent observer.

Of course all need to be focused on tasks also, have good tools for that for more efficiency, but in today there is so much speed and turbulence and difficult to keep the focus if you have not practiced mindfulness.  To be able to calm your mind, manage your feelings and open for inner resources. Work with others with trust.
